Sydney UAV Engineering (SUAVE)
University of Sydney student-led UAV engineering society with more than 200 members and several aircraft project teams. Originating in 2019 as the University of Sydney Design Build Fly Team and established as SUAVE in 2022, it designs, manufactures, and flies competition aircraft. Its Project FASTR research team develops autonomous fixed-wing and quadcopter platforms with vertical take-off, extremely-short landing, computer vision, state estimation, flight-control, and autopilot systems.
