TshepisoSAT Team

Forty CPUT/F’SATI postgraduate students designed and built TshepisoSAT, also known as ZACUBE-1, the first CubeSat developed in Africa by postgraduate students. Launched in November 2013, the mission returned ionospheric radio-propagation data for the South African National Space Agency and trained a generation of satellite engineers.
