UChicago Space Program

UChicago Space Program is a continuing undergraduate-led aerospace organization and SEDS chapter at the University of Chicago, founded in 2020. Its 250-plus members work across CubeSat, high-power rocketry and science-instrumentation divisions. The flagship PULSE-A project is a NASA-selected student CubeSat designed to demonstrate polarization-modulated optical communications from space to ground; official sources document student spacecraft and ground-station design, hardware fabrication, requirements reviews and a planned late-summer 2026 launch. This record makes no launch-success, orbital-operation or completed-mission claim.
