UFABC Rocket Design

Active Universidade Federal do ABC student research and development team founded in 2010 to design, simulate, manufacture, test, and launch experimental sounding rockets. Its multidisciplinary work covers propulsion, aerodynamics, structures, avionics, recovery, payloads, and flight simulation; the approximately 130-member team won the solid-motor category at the 2025 International Rocket Engineering Competition with Aracê after matching its 3,255-metre flight to a student-developed six-degree-of-freedom simulation.
