UIU Aerial Robotics Team
UIU Aerial Robotics Team (UART) is a United International University student team developing autonomous uncrewed aircraft. Its Raven 1.0 platform was developed for SUAS 2026, integrating modular airframe construction, flight electronics, onboard computer vision and autonomous mission software. The team documents ArduPilot flight control, MAVLink communication between its mission computer and autopilot, autonomous waypoint navigation, and polygon survey and mapping. Its work combines mechanical design, electronics, software and flight testing. United International University placed fourth in the Mission Demonstration category at SUAS 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
