White Noise
White Noise is a student-led aerospace team established in 2017 at the National Technical University of Athens. Its Aurora solid-propellant rocket project integrates custom avionics, active airbrake control and dual-event recovery for a 3 km target apogee. Earlier projects include the student-designed, manufactured and static-fired Cronos hybrid motor; DrillSat’s soil-sampling CanSat; and Icarus’ terrain-mapping payload. Daedalus placed fourth among 93 teams at the international CanSat finals. At EuRoC 2026, White Noise received both the Payload Award and Rookie of the Year award.
