California State University, Long Beach is a public university founded in 1949 and part of the California State University system. Its Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department offers undergraduate, accelerated blended, and graduate aerospace engineering degrees. The curricula cover aerodynamics, propulsion, aerospace structures, spacecraft dynamics and systems, flight mechanics and control, engineering analysis, instrumentation, and aircraft and spacecraft design.
