The National University of Singapore is a research university whose College of Design and Engineering offers an Aeronautical Engineering specialisation within the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) curriculum and a 20-Unit Specialisation in Space Technology open to Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering students. Its Satellite Technology and Research Centre (STAR) develops distributed satellite systems, formation-flying and orbit-control technologies, space autonomy and in-orbit technology demonstrations. The center supports spacecraft and payload development, environmental qualification, assembly, integration and testing, and mission operations. It connects university researchers with government, industry and international partners to carry technologies from laboratory validation toward flight experiments.
