The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is Tennessee's public flagship and land-grant university. Its Tickle College of Engineering offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, an applied-engineering bachelor's route with an aerospace concentration, and aerospace engineering master's and doctoral degrees. Aerospace teaching and research include aerodynamics, hypersonics, propulsion, orbital mechanics, flight stability and control, structures, and work at the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
