Guatemalan university with sustained student spacecraft development, the country's dedicated Aerospace Laboratory, and current aerospace teaching and research. UVG developed and operated the Quetzal-1 CubeSat, is developing the active QUETZAL-2 mission through multidisciplinary student subteams, and conducts work in satellite systems, unmanned spacecraft, communications, attitude control, onboard computing, structures, testing, and responsible deorbiting.
