University of Botswana

The University of Botswana in Gaborone offers a space-science research and training pathway through its Center of Excellence in Planetary, Space Science and Technology, launched through FAST4Future. The initiative connects planetary science, astronomy and astrophysics, space technology and citizen science. The university describes FAST4Future as a virtual collaboration offering specialized courses, training and workshops, with an emphasis on remote access and inclusive STEM participation. Its partners include other African universities, industry and national space organizations, linking research, education and technical capacity building across institutions.
