University of Malta

The University of Malta hosts the Institute of Aerospace Technologies, established by the University Council in 2014, with aerospace and aviation teaching, aeronautics research and stakeholder engagement. Its Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy also supports postgraduate space-science research. University students formed the UM Rocketry Team for Malta inaugural European Rocketry Challenge participation.
