York University

York University is a public research university in Toronto. Its Lassonde School of Engineering offers a Specialized Honours BEng in Space Engineering and a Space Science stream in the Specialized Honours BSc in Earth & Atmospheric Science. York also offers MSc and PhD degrees in Earth & Space Science and in Physics & Astronomy, with official research areas spanning space science and engineering, planetary physics, and astronomy and astrophysics. Its Centre for Research in Earth and Space Science (CRESS) develops scientific instruments, CubeSats and satellite subsystems. CRESS researchers have led Canadian contributions to NASA's Phoenix Mars and OSIRIS-REx missions, connecting planetary science with instrument engineering and interpretation of mission data.
