The Airbus H145 is the current member of a light-twin helicopter lineage begun as the jointly developed MBB-Kawasaki BK117. The family evolved through the enlarged EC145 into successive H145 versions with modern avionics, a shrouded tail rotor, and, most recently, a five-blade main rotor. Its roomy cabin and multi-mission adaptability support emergency medical transport, air rescue, public service, aerial work, offshore transport, passenger flying, training, and utility operations.
