Apollo Command and Service Module

The Apollo Command and Service Module combined a recoverable command module for crew, flight control, atmospheric entry, and splashdown with an expendable service module carrying propulsion, electrical power, and consumables. Block I spacecraft supported early uncrewed development and the Apollo 1 ground-test vehicle; the redesigned Block II flew every crewed Apollo, Skylab ferry, and Apollo-Soyuz mission.
