Ariane 5 ES, or Evolution Storable, combined the more powerful Ariane 5 ECA lower composite with a restartable Aestus-powered EPS upper stage. Eight missions from 2008 through 2018 launched five Automated Transfer Vehicles to the International Space Station and three four-satellite Galileo deployments.
