Atlas I

Atlas I was the first commercially designated Atlas-Centaur generation, developed by General Dynamics and later carried through its corporate successors. Eleven vehicles flew from 1990 through 1997: eight nominal successes, two total Centaur failures, and one Atlas underperformance that left UHF F1 in a recoverable but incorrect orbit. The series began with CRRES and ended with GOES-K.
