Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 2 lunar far-side lander

Blue Ghost Mission 2 is Firefly Aerospace’s mission-specific Blue Ghost lunar lander for NASA’s CLPS CS-3 and CS-4 deliveries to the lunar far side. The 2026 mission is planned to deliver NASA science and technology payloads, including the LuSEE-Night low-frequency radio observatory, and to deploy a separate communications and data-relay satellite into lunar orbit for surface and orbital assets. This far-side relay and radio-astronomy objective differentiates the vehicle from Firefly’s successful near-side Blue Ghost Mission 1 and from the reusable Blue Ghost lander family.
