Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 4 lunar south-pole lander

Blue Ghost Mission 4 is Firefly Aerospace’s mission-specific Blue Ghost lander for NASA’s CS-6 Commercial Lunar Payload Services delivery to the Moon’s south pole, targeted for 2029. The lander will operate with the Elytra Dark orbital vehicle, deploy the MoonRanger rover and a Canadian Space Agency rover, and support three additional science instruments: the Laser Ablation Ionization Mass Spectrometer, SCALPSS plume-surface cameras, and a laser retroreflector. The south-pole mission will investigate hydrogen, water, minerals, radiation, thermal conditions, regolith chemistry, and landing ejecta for future human and robotic exploration.
