Blue Scout Junior Launch Vehicle Family

Blue Scout Junior was the compact, unguided branch of the U.S. Air Force's System 609A program. Unlike Blue Scout I and II, it omitted the Algol stage and began with Castor and Antares motors; its four- and three-stage derivatives supported high-altitude science, propulsion experiments, and the interim Emergency Rocket Communications System.
