Blue Scout Launch Vehicle Family
Blue Scout was the U.S. Air Force’s parallel development of NASA’s all-solid Scout concept. It reused Scout propulsion components in three- and four-stage configurations for high-altitude probes, reentry tests, and the Mercury tracking-network test during 1961–1962.
