The Boeing 777 is a family of long-range, twin-engine, widebody jet transports developed for passenger and freight service. The original 777 introduced Boeing's first fully digital fly-by-wire commercial flight controls and grew through longer-range, higher-capacity, and dedicated freighter models. The later 777X generation retains the family identity while adding a new composite wing with folding tips, new engines, and a redesigned cabin.
