The Boeing F-15K Slam Eagle is the Republic of Korea Air Force F-15E-derived export fighter variant, combining the proven Eagle airframe with Korea-specific systems and an independently selected GE F110-GE-129 twin-engine installation. GE Aerospace reports the F110-powered F-15K first flew in March 2005; the variant remains an active ROKAF combat-aircraft branch.
