Boeing X-48C Blended-Wing-Body Research Variant

The Boeing X-48C was a modified X-48B blended-wing-body research aircraft flown by NASA and Boeing to study low-speed stability, control, and reduced-noise configurations. It first flew on 7 August 2012 after receiving twin-tail and engine-installation changes that distinguished the C model from the earlier three-engine X-48B.
