The Cessna 182 Skylane is a four-seat, high-wing, single-engine aircraft family used for personal travel, training, utility flying, and special missions. The prototype flew in 1955 and the 182 was certificated in 1956. More than 23,000 examples have been delivered across fixed-gear, retractable-gear, normally aspirated, and turbocharged variants, while current 182T and T182T production continues the long-running Skylane lineage.
