The Calima T-90 is a Colombian two-seat, low-wing primary training aircraft manufactured by CIAC for military pilot instruction. The Synergy/Calima T-90 resulted from a CIAC–Lancair alliance: Colombian assembly was combined with design and component manufacture by Lancair in Uvalde, Texas. Its structure combines carbon-fibre primary components and fibreglass secondary components, with dual flight controls. CIAC reports manufacturing 26 aircraft and identifies the type as the first Colombian-built aircraft to receive a Colombian defence type certificate in the normal category. The manufacturer lists a 1,042 kg maximum takeoff mass, an 8.66 m wingspan, a 212 km/h cruise speed and 6.3 hours of endurance.
