Concorde

Concorde was an Anglo-French four-engine supersonic passenger-airliner family jointly developed and produced by British Aircraft Corporation and Aérospatiale. Production aircraft cruised at about Mach 2 and served scheduled and charter routes with Air France and British Airways from 1976 until 2003. For production-service comparison, BAE Systems gives a 25.6 m wing span. The 100-seat capacity and 6,667 km range recorded here are British Airways' published service figures for its 100-seat cabin, with 40 seats forward and 60 aft; they are not universal certified maxima or prototype specifications. Supersonic cruise remains expressed as about Mach 2 because an equivalent speed in kilometres per hour depends on atmospheric conditions.
