The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine delta-wing military aircraft family developed as a new-generation successor to the Mirage III. Its digital flight-control system and integrated navigation-and-attack architecture supported air-defence, strike, reconnaissance, and multirole variants; about 600 aircraft were produced, with roughly half exported. The family remains an important example of a high-performance design that combined aerodynamic continuity with major advances in electrical flight control and systems integration.
