Dassault Mirage F1 Supersonic Fighter and Reconnaissance Family

The Dassault Mirage F1 was a single-engine supersonic fighter family that replaced the delta-wing Mirage III's high-speed approach with a swept wing and conventional tail for lower-speed handling and improved range. Developed in France for air defense, the F1 expanded into reconnaissance, strike, two-seat training, and export variants and became one of the most widely operated European combat-aircraft families of the Cold War.
