Europa Clipper Jupiter-system spacecraft

Europa Clipper is NASA's solar-powered outer-planet spacecraft for detailed investigation of Jupiter's icy moon Europa. After gravity assists at Mars and Earth, it will enter Jupiter orbit and conduct 49 close Europa flybys to study the moon's ice shell, subsurface ocean, composition, geology, and potential habitability. Its integrated spacecraft propulsion system uses 24 engines rated at 27.5 N each; up to eight can operate at once for a maximum thrust of 220 N.
