Europa Launch Vehicle Programme

Europa was the first multinational European satellite-launcher development programme, created by ELDO from national contributions including the British Blue Streak first stage, French Coralie second stage, German Astris third stage, and Italian payload hardware. Eleven development launches were conducted from 1964 to 1971, but none of the four complete-vehicle orbital attempts achieved orbit.
