FAdeA IA-63 Pampa III

The IA-63 Pampa III is an Argentine advanced-training aircraft produced and modernised by FAdeA in Córdoba for the Argentine Air Force, with additional light tactical capability. It develops the Pampa design through updated propulsion and digital avionics, including integrated navigation and aiming systems, a head-up display and modern cockpit systems. Block II adds virtual-training software, improved flight-analysis functions and communication between aircraft in flight. The programme combines new production with conversion of earlier Pampa II airframes, component replacement and a flight simulator. Argentina’s Defence Ministry documented the delivery of new-build and modernised aircraft under the 2021 production contract, including further Block II deliveries in 2024. Flight-test and acceptance work is supported by the Air Force’s Centro de Ensayos en Vuelo.
