Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 Family

The Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 are closely related Dutch twin-engine regional jets developed from the earlier F28 Fellowship. The Fokker 100 introduced a longer fuselage, redesigned wing, digital flight deck, and quieter Rolls-Royce Tay engines, while the shorter Fokker 70 reused the same modernized systems for lower-capacity routes. Though production ended after Fokker's 1996 collapse, the two types remain supported under a common continuing-airworthiness programme and continue in airline and government service.
