The Grob G 109 is a two-seat, self-launching motor-glider family constructed primarily from composite materials. It combines powered takeoff and cruising with the ability to soar as a glider, giving clubs and private operators a versatile touring aircraft. The improved G 109B also served extensively as the Vigilant T1, introducing air cadets to flying and gliding through side-by-side instruction.
