Grumman A-6 Intruder All-Weather Attack Aircraft Family

The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a two-seat, carrier-based all-weather attack aircraft designed to deliver conventional or nuclear weapons accurately at night and in poor visibility. Its long endurance, side-by-side crew arrangement, and integrated attack-navigation system made it a defining U.S. Navy and Marine Corps strike aircraft from the Vietnam era through the 1990s, with later electronic-warfare and tanker derivatives extending the design service.
