H-II Launch Vehicle Family

The H-II launch-vehicle lineage is the Japanese large orbital-launch family that began with the domestically developed H-II and continued through the H-IIA and higher-capacity H-IIB. Across the lineage, liquid-hydrogen and liquid-oxygen core stages were paired with solid boosters for satellite, exploration, and station-logistics missions.
