Honda 6.3 m reusable-rocket flight demonstrator

Honda R&D’s 6.3 m flight demonstrator tests ascent control, descent and powered recovery for reusable rockets. Its June 2025 Taiki flight reached 271.4 m and landed near the selected target. The vehicle uses Honda’s own methane/oxygen turbopump technology. It remains a research demonstrator; commercialization and future suborbital service are separate decisions.
