Joby Electric Air Taxi
Joby's electric air taxi is a piloted powered-lift aircraft under development for short passenger trips. Six tilting propellers provide vertical takeoff and landing, transition to wing-borne cruise, and all-electric propulsion during flight. Full-scale and pre-production aircraft have accumulated extensive flight-test mileage, including piloted transition flights and operations in controlled airspace, while the design continues through United States type certification.
