The L-410 Turbolet is a Czechoslovak and Czech high-wing twin-turboprop family designed for regional passenger, cargo, and utility work from short or unprepared runways. Its rugged airframe and adaptable cabin support airline, government, military, ambulance, parachuting, patrol, and surveillance missions in a wide range of climates. More than 1,200 aircraft have been built, and the design remains in production and support through modern UVP-E20 and L-410 NG derivatives.
