Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird

The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird was a reusable two-seat, long-range Mach 3 strategic reconnaissance aircraft developed by the Lockheed Skunk Works for the United States Air Force. The family entered flight test in 1964, supported operational reconnaissance from 1968, and later served NASA as a high-speed research platform through the final Blackbird flight in 1999.
