Lunar Meteoroid Impacts Observer
ESA’s LUMIO is an upcoming 12U CubeSat technology-demonstration mission planned for an Earth–Moon L2 halo orbit. From there it will observe, quantify, and characterize meteoroid-impact flashes on the lunar farside to improve lunar meteoroid-environment knowledge and situational awareness for future exploration.
