Luna Ye-6 lunar lander
Ye-6 was OKB-1’s first spacecraft design for a controlled lunar landing. The bus carried an ejectable spherical surface station and used inflatable cushions to survive touchdown; its 1963-1965 flights established the hardware and operating sequence later completed by the Lavochkin-built Ye-6M.
