Luna Ye-6S lunar orbiter
Ye-6S was GSMZ Lavochkin’s interim lunar-orbiter variant of the Ye-6 lander bus. Two spacecraft were prepared in early 1966; the first remained in Earth orbit as Kosmos 111, while backup Ye-6S No. 206 became Luna 10 and the first spacecraft to orbit another planetary body.
