Luna Ye-8 rover-delivery lander
Luna Ye-8 was the Soviet robotic lunar landing system used by Luna 17 and Luna 21 to carry Lunokhod rovers from Earth to the Moon. Its corrective-braking module handled cruise corrections, lunar-orbit insertion, descent, and soft landing, then provided the stationary platform and ramps from which the rover deployed.
