MANTIS (Monitoring Activity from Nearby sTars with uv Imaging and Spectroscopy) is a planned multi-instrument ultraviolet small satellite led by the University of Colorado LASP. It will observe extreme-, far-, and near-ultraviolet emission from low-mass stars to study stellar activity and its effects on exoplanet atmospheres, complementing JWST observations.
