MMX Spacecraft System

The JAXA MMX spacecraft system is a Mitsubishi Electric-built deep-space sample-return probe comprising propulsion, exploration, and return modules plus a detachable sample-return capsule. It is designed to observe Phobos and Deimos, deploy the IDEFIX rover, land on Phobos, collect more than 10 grams of material, and return the sample capsule to Earth.
