MT-135 was a Japanese meteorological sounding-rocket family developed jointly by the University of Tokyo and Japan’s Meteorological Agency from 1963. Its first flight took place in July 1964. The rockets supported measurements of the middle atmosphere, including ozone research; ISAS now lists operation of the type as ended.
