New Shepard
New Shepard is Blue Origin’s fully reusable, autonomous suborbital human-spaceflight system. Its two independently recoverable elements are a pressurized six-person crew capsule and a BE-3PM-powered vertical-landing propulsion module. Full-scale flight testing began in 2015 and crewed commercial service in 2021. Blue Origin announced on 30 January 2026 that New Shepard flights would pause for no less than two years while resources shifted toward human lunar development.
