Pegasus Air-Launched Orbital Vehicle Family

Pegasus was the first privately developed air-launched orbital-rocket family. Forty-six vehicles flew from 1990 through 2026 in Standard, HAPS-equipped, Hybrid, and lengthened XL configurations, deploying small spacecraft from a B-52 and later the L-1011 Stargazer at six geographically dispersed launch sites.
