Polyot 11A59 was a two-stage Soviet orbital launch-vehicle variant in the R-7 lineage. Two vehicles flew successfully from Baikonur in 1963 and 1964, launching the maneuverable Polyot 1 and Polyot 2 spacecraft. The expendable launcher used an R-7 core with four strap-on boosters.
